ACA ACCREDITED COURSES
ACA Accredited Course Finder
Courses of study that meet ACA accreditation standards must have a primary focus on counselling. Registered counsellors and psychotherapists are required to be able to perform significant in depth therapeutic work with their clients using various therapeutic approaches. These skills must extend beyond theoretical knowledge and be firmly grounded in evidence-based practices.
Whilst there are numerous training providers delivering courses in counselling, ACA lists only those courses that meet government regulator requirements Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) and/ or Tertiary Education Quality Standards Agency (TEQSA) and have attained ACA Accredited Course status. The ACA Accredited Course Finder lists all ACA accredited courses at Diploma, Bachelor and Masters degree levels.
