Hi, my
name is Adiemus Seah.
I am a
registered Level 4 counsellor and accredited mental health first aid
instructor. I am also a Chief Examiner, clinical supervisor and lecturer for
the Master of Counselling at Monash University. I have over 20 years of experience
helping individuals, teams and organisations to elevate performance, achieve
goals, and enhance wellbeing. I am passionate about people and organisational
development, and have a gift to catalyse personal and group excellence.
I have
worked as a mental health clinician, well-being consultant, and head of the
university counselling department in various universities, hospitals,
non-profits, and private practices. Moreover, I am a Gallup-certified
CliftonStrengths coach, where I empower people and organisations using
strengths-based assessments and strategies for success. I also provide individual
and group supervision, mentoring, and psychological first aid.
I
specialise in mental health, grief and loss, wellbeing science, Clifton
Strengths assessment and strengths-based psychology coaching. I have also
developed personalised training packages for leadership development,
organisational wellbeing practices, team building, and mental health first aid
training.
In
addition, I am the producer and host of a YouTube channel called ‘Science
UP Your Wellbeing’. In this wellbeing series, I interview local and
international experts in mental health, positive psychology and wellbeing
science. Some experts whom I interviewed included Professor Lindsay Oades
(Australia), Dr Suzy Green (Australia), Dr Michelle McQuaid (Australia),
Professor Michael Steger (USA), Professor Christian van Nieuwerburgh (UK),
Professor Ilona Boniwell (France) and Dr Lucy Hone (New Zealand).
People
describe me as warm, engaging, passionate and with a sense of humour. I am
skilled in helping clients build resilience and navigate their challenges in a
creative and compassionate manner. I take an evidence-based and eclectic counselling
approach to integrate and adapt therapeutic practices to my client's unique
needs and goals. In summary, I find deep satisfaction, meaning and great joy in
enabling people and organisations to thrive.
I look
forward to connecting and getting to know you. Let’s chat and discuss how we
can partner to create the preferred future for you, your team, and your
organisation. You can reach me at adiemus@strengthsoptimizer.com, or click here to Connect - https://www.strengthsoptimizer.com/contact/
