Hi I'm Ajani Wadood,I believe that as an individual you are best placed to understand yourself and your experiences. The role of a counsellor is to support you to make sense of things and get to where you want to be.I am a registered teacher, NDIS Key Worker, a cognitive behavioural therapist and a registered counsellor. My approach in counselling begins with a warm, non-judgemental environment with an empathic ear to listen and truly hear you.Working together with the use of exploration questions in help you to gain a greater understanding and insight into your problems and maybe find the solutions that you seek. As every client is an individual and past experiences are different, the way of working reflects this by using and mixing different counselling approaches to best suit the individual client. This can be a mixed of the person centred approach, psychodynamic and cognitive behavioural therapy. I also believe that the things you think or do without thinking can tell us about hidden parts of yourself, and through therapy this can be bought to your attention to do with as you wish. For Bookingshttps://awprofessionalsincare.com.au/booking-appointmentsVisit our website for more informationhttps://awprofessionalsincare.com.au/My CredentialsBachelor in Early ChildhoodCognitive Behavioural Therapy Practitioner (ACCREC)Grad Dip Play TherapyAssociate Degree in Educational StudiesDiploma in CounsellingDiploma in Child Development Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (ACCRE)
