Alana Williams

Alana has years of experience in the mental health field, beginning as a Mental Health Worker and supporting people of all ages while studying her degrees in Psychology, Sociology and Counselling. She then completed her studies and began work as a Behaviour Support Practitioner and Counsellor, specialising in working with families and children coping with varying diagnoses and behavioural issues. Alana take a strengths-based approach to her counselling, being sensitive to the thoughts, feelings and emotions that are a response to the lived experience. Drawing useful tools from several modalities such as mindfulness, solutions focused and family systems therapies, each counselling journey will be unique and tailored to what benefits the individual the most. The goal is always to facilitate healing and empower each person to navigate life with resilience, love and awareness.
