I currently have a Masters in Art Psychotherapy (UWS), Bachelor’s degree in Communication Co-design (BBCD), certifications in Narrative Psychotherapy (Dulwich Centre), Dialectical Behaviour Psychotherapy (BehaviorTech), Complex Trauma Informed Diversity Practice (Blue Knot) and Drug and Alcohol work (TAFE). I’ve been a practicing mental health practitioner for 20 years, starting in the Homelessness, Drug and Alcohol and Domestic Violence sectors before moving into direct clinical mental health treatment. I have lived experience of each of these challenges. I currently specialises in working alongside those living with personality and dissociative disorders as well as those with experiences of severe trauma and chronic ill-health. I work as a lived experience researcher, clinician and consultant for Project Air Strategy (UOW) and the Australian BPD Foundation and a specialty LGBTIQA+ crisis service. I also run my own community practice, Living Arts Therapy, which is nation-wide, accessible online and centres the needs of those with disability, difference, diversity and specialised requirements using a non-medicalised non-pathologising intersectional socially-just response.
