Anni Hine Moana, B.A., Grad.Dip.Ed., M. Counselling, PhD is a registered psychotherapist/counsellor and counselling supervisor.
Her practice is informed by person centred and narrative approaches to therapy using contemporary evidence based frameworks.
Anni is a tenured teaching academic (.5) at Monash University in the Graduate Program of Addictive Behaviours, based at Turning Point.
Anni is highly experienced in working with people from diverse social and cultural backgrounds.
She is particularly experienced in workling with people who are experiencing challenges to their wellbeing as a result of unhelpful stories that they have been told about themselves.
In addition to counselling and supervision Anni has undertaken participatory action research with Aboriginal women through her PhD project and working on the Healing the Past by Nurturing the Future project at the University of Melbourne.
In 2025 Anni will act as Convenor for the Melbourne Chapter of ACA.
