As a registered counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association, Bahar is deeply committed to facilitating transformative journeys towards mental well-being. With over a decade of experience in the field of mental health, Bahar has had the privilege of working with individuals of all ages facing a diverse range of challenges, including Anxiety, Depression, School Refusal, Parental Separation, Grief & Loss, Trauma, Peer/Relationship Issues, Bullying and Social Skills Difficulties amongst others.
Warmth, empathy, and a non-judgmental attitude are at the core of her practice. Bahar believes in building a strong therapeutic partnership with her clients in creating a safe space to explore challenges and emotions, paving the way for healing.
Her particular passions are around supporting parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for their children. As a mother of two, one of whom is Autistic, she has a unique insight into living with and caring for a loved one with unique needs. Bahar brings a unique approach to therapy that is informed by a person/lived experience and professional perspective.
