Bronwyn is a calm, compassionate and insightful therapist. She is a passionate advocate for authentic, open and respectful collaborative relationships between client and therapist, believing it is the first step in empowering positive personal change and reduced emotional suffering. She values the restorative nature of counselling as an opportunity to reflect on values, goals and expectations and to promote self-awareness and personal growth. Bronwyn’s empathic, warm nature is the cornerstone of her therapeutic approach. Providing a non-judgemental, safe space for clients to ‘tell their story,’ Bronwyn supports her clients to discover the source of their concerns and guides them towards goal-orientated solutions for positive, sustainable change. Recognising the intricate nature of the relationships we have with ourselves and others, Bronwyn works with clients to uncover and explore barriers, reasons and potential roadblocks to positive change. In doing so, she helps clients discover strategies to increase and sustain self-awareness, personal belief and resilience.Bronwyn integrates a variety of therapeutic modalities and has training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Gottman Therapy.
