Carolyn is an ACA accredited counsellor and professional supervisor known for her professionalism and care. With a genuine and compassionate communication style, she creates a calm and supportive space for clients from all backgrounds. Carolyn tailors her practice to each client’s needs, fostering a wholistic, person-centred approach to aide personal recovery and ensure her clients feel heard and understood.
She integrates a trauma-informed approach with evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Choice Theory, Internal Family Systems, and Narrative Approaches. Carolyn is also experienced in Christian and faith-based counselling, offering this perspective when requested.With a diverse 25-year background in school chaplaincy and community service roles, Carolyn is passionate about supporting individuals, couples, and families to achieve their goals and improve their overall sense of well-being. She is particularly interested in areas of mental health and trauma recovery, psychosocial support, families and relationships and has a special interest in working with young people, bringing her extensive experience to help them navigate the challenges of adolescence and early adulthood.
Carolyn is also passionate about caring for the carers , such as healthcare workers, professionals, first responders and is available for professional supervision of pastors and leaders.
