As a mother and certified counsellor, I recognise the struggles that women may face when trying to find support beyond the “traditional” 6-week postpartum period. My own personal and professional experiences have led me to support women, to hear their story, identify their goals and guide them.
I am here to support you in navigating current or previous experiences of anxiety, depression, intimacy, family violence, relationship changes (postpartum) and attachment/bonding. I want to assist you in understanding what you may be experiencing, gain personal coping strategies and challenge unhelpful thoughts.
Every woman’s experience is unique and therefore, the support that you may require will be tailored to your individual needs. I focus on giving compassionate support using mindfulness, psychoeducation and other CBT and ACT techniques. I also provide counselling outside of traditional working hours to ensure that you are able to find a time that suits you.
