Chantelle is a qualified Counselling Psychotherapist, certified Clinical Supervisor, and trauma informed practitioner with over ten years' experience. She is registered with the Australian Counselling Association, Certified play therapist and a member of Supervision Training Services and College of Clinical Supervisors.
She has extensive background in supporting clients of all ages and multicultural backgrounds. Working for non for profit, and government agencies, Primary and Secondary schools, Residential nursing homes and National helplines.
Chantelle’s work experience has included roles in Mental Health Counselling, Alcohol and Other Drug Counselling, Youth/School Counselling, Aged Care Residential Counselling, Family/Domestic/Sexual Violence Counselling, Employee Assistance Program Counselling (EAP) and National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Counselling.
Her approaches and background incorporate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Person Focused Therapy, and a Solution Focused Approach.
She has a particular interest in working with adults and young people in the areas of anxiety, depression, career coaching/mentoring with a specialty in Trauma, Loss and Grief including PTSD. She is dedicated to helping her clients achieve their goals and improving their mental health and overall well-being.
