Christine has extensive experience in providing individual counselling and group facilitation to clients. Having worked in the field since 1997, she has assisted many adolescent and adult clients to explore a range of mental health, developmental or personal issues that were impacting on their life and well-being. Through a collaborative, client centred approach, Christine assists clients to explore strategies and solutions that will work for them and their particular situation. Christine is also experienced in implementing behavioural interventions for people who have been diagnosed with an Intellectual Disability or Autism Spectrum Disorder. Through individualised planning and interventions Christine can assist clients to develop the knowledge and skills they require to improve their quality of life and reduce challenging behaviours. Christine is a member of the college of Counselling Supervisors and provides clinical supervision to fellow counsellors on either an individual or group basis.
