Crystal Halloran I am the founder of the Nurture & Grow Counselling
service. I am a caring, empathetic & non-judgment - professional
Counselling practitioner who puts the client at the forefront of every
interaction by nurturing each person's journey, choices, development &
autonomy in a safe & therapeutic environment.  I am highly
qualified with a bachelor's degree in Counselling & hold various certified
training: A diploma in Management - community services, Cert IV in Youth work,
Cert IV training & assessment, Cert III in Children Services, Mental Health
First Aid, & current First Aid & CPR. I have legal clearances:
Working with Children Check (WWCC) & NDIS workers check (NDISWC) &
National Police clearance check. To complement
my academic & professional training, I also have 15 years of experience
across the social, community & welfare sectors including; Business
owner/operator: Counselling Service, Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, T/Leader for disability services,
independent contractor - Support Worker: disability, NDIS - Local Area
Coordinator,  Case Management - homeless children & young people &
young families.    My therapeutic
approach when working with clients is from a holistic position &
believe each person has specific needs, challenges & goals. I believe there
is no one size approach that fits all, therefore I use integrated
evidence-based counselling & psychological interventions to support each
client in their presentations. The
integrated counselling & psychotherapy theoretical orientations &
interventions that can be drawn upon (not limited to) are; Person-centred
therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy & behaviour therapy, child-centred
therapy - play therapy, solution focused brief therapy, individual psychology
& positive psychology, recreational therapy, creative therapy: art &
sand tray, somatic therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, trauma informed
therapy & psychoeducation to support capacity building in a range of areas.Nurture &

mobile therapy services, face-to-face sessions in private practice - Sutherland
NSW 2232 & online services anywhere in Australia.
