As a practitioner of clinical counselling, Danielle’s therapeutic approach places an emphasis on the mind-body relationship and is both experiential and pragmatic. Danielle has worked in a number of areas including family separation/conflict, domestic violence, early childhood trauma and attachment, intellectual disability and autism and general counselling. She works with individuals and families to help them develop deeper connections to themselves, and stronger more fulfilling relationships with others.Following the completion of her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Deakin University, Danielle went on to pursue a Master in Counselling. Prior to commencing studies, Danielle worked as a behaviour therapist (Discrete Trial Training), working with children presenting with developmental delay and autism. She takes an analytical play therapy approach when working with children and their families. Danielle uses a number of approaches including CBT, Narrative therapy, IFS and solution-focused that centres around her clients needs.
