Registered Counsellor
Darren Radley
Languages Spoken:
Darren has spent over ten thousand hours with individuals, couples, families, workplaces, and groups discussing a wide range of mental health, relationship and workplace issues. The many hours of counselling experience has provided Darren with a sound understanding and detailed knowledge of the challenges that all of us face in today’s busy world. Apart from individual and couple counselling Darren has also held sexual health workshops. Monthly supervision of Darren’s counselling work is a requirement to maintain membership of the peak national counselling body, the Australian Counselling Association (ACA). An additional requirement of national membership of ACA is the constant updating of counselling skills through regular professional development. In 2012 Darren joined ASSERT NSW (Australian Society of Sex Educators, Researchers, and Therapists) as a professional member. Darren was awarded his BA in Literary Studies and Communication from Griffith University in 2004. In 2006 Darren was awarded the Diploma of Professional Counselling from The Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors, and in 2012 was awarded the Master of Health Science in Sexual Health from The University of Sydney. Darren has been in private practice since 2006 and has worked for a large national EAP provider part-time since 2016.
