As an ACA registered counsellor and clinical supervisor with a deep passion for mental health and wellness, I bring a person-centered approach to every therapeutic relationship. With expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma- informed care, Mindfulness, Strengths-based approaches, and Solution-focused therapy, I am dedicated to creating a space where individuals can feel heard, supported, and empowered. My work is built on the foundation of evidence-based practices and a genuine belief in the power of human connection.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked in both clinical and corporate settings, training internal staff and leading group workshops—both in person and virtually—on a range of mental health topics. I take pride in being able to tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each individual, ensuring that they feel seen and understood. Whether through one-on-one sessions or group engagements, my focus is always on fostering self-awareness, resilience, and personal growth.
In a world that often moves too quickly, I create a compassionate, non-judgmental space where people can explore their challenges and find clarity and purpose. For me, counselling is not just a profession—it is a calling. It's an opportunity to nurture hope, guide transformation, and support individuals as they rediscover their strengths and potential.
In addition to my counselling practice, I am a Certified Genetic Counselor, with a strong foundation in human and medical genetics. My work in genetic counselling spans a variety of therapeutic and clinical settings—ranging from premarital to pediatric counselling. I am skilled in interpreting genetic test results (NGS, microarray, karyotyping) and providing personalised, compassionate guidance to individuals and families navigating complex genetic information.
With a Bachelor of Technology in Genetic Engineering, a post-graduate diploma in Genetic Counselling from India, and a Master of Counselling from the University of Queensland, I am committed to lifelong learning and bringing a holistic perspective to both mental health and genetic counselling.
Whether supporting clients through therapeutic journeys or helping individuals understand their genetic risks, I am here to facilitate growth, healing, and fulfillment. Let's work together to create meaningful change and navigate life's challenges with confidence and clarity.
