DESIREE DOES HOME VISITS:Parramatta District & Hills, Northern, Inner West and Outer West Districts. Desiree has vast experience in working with adult clients of any age (& their support people) who have a physical or intellectual disability or chronic illness, elderly clients, Carers and their concerns, and behavioural or socialisation issues connected to illness or disability. Desiree also has experience with clients suffering acute or chronic trauma, depression, anxiety, stress related issues, chronic illness, anger management, conflict resolution, grief from loss of a pet, relationship issues LGBTQI and employment/unemployment issues. Desiree has a particular interest in the study of detrimental stress and the effects on human functioning, health and well-being.
Qualifications
• Master Social Science (Counselling) (with Distinction), Graduate Diploma Counselling, Bachelor Social Science (Honours) , Bachelor Social Science (Criminology), Certificate Welfare Work
• Master of Psychotherapy & Counselling
