Meet Di Stahl, Director of Tiqvah Services, Initially Di's experience had been in Education. Her background
combines a solid blend of experience working directly with young people in
Papua New Guinea and Australia. Di has worked extensively with young people in
Residential Care and families in her role as an Intensive Family Services (IFS)
and Reunification Practitioner within Not For Profit (NFP) Organisation.
Di has a warm and respectful approach and provides a safe,
supportive and non-judgmental environment for clients to explore and express
their difficulties. Di’s therapeutic approach emphasises the quality of the
relationship between therapist and client. Di often use Cognitive Behavioural
Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) among other therapies.
In your first session, we'll
explore what brought you to therapy and then decide the most appropriate ways
to help you make progress. With CBT, we'll look at how your thoughts affect
your emotions and experience. Di will help you learn how to push back against
those thoughts to change your feelings for the better. Di's approach is
person-centered, evidence-based and holistic.
