Hi! My mission is to provide compassionate, effective support to couples navigating the complexities of their relationships. With a strong academic foundation and extensive practical experience, I am committed to helping couples rediscover connection, resolve conflicts, and rebuild trust.
My primary focus is working with couples who are experiencing disconnection in their relationships, often stemming from conflict and poor communication habits. Whether it's frequent arguments, a sense of growing apart, or unresolved issues that continue to resurface, I provide a safe, non-judgmental space for couples to explore their feelings and work towards a healthier, more fulfilling relationship.
One of the most challenging aspects of my work involves supporting couples who have experienced affairs and trauma. Infidelity can deeply wound a relationship, leading to feelings of betrayal, anger, and insecurity. I offer compassionate guidance to help couples navigate these difficult emotions, understand the underlying issues, and work towards healing and rebuilding trust.
I also assist couples who are uncertain about the future of their relationship. In situations where one partner is unsure about staying together while the other is committed to working things out, it can be incredibly stressful and confusing. My role is to facilitate open, honest communication and help both partners explore their feelings and options in a supportive environment.
Conflict over significant issues such as children and money is another common area where I provide support. These topics often trigger intense emotions and can lead to recurring arguments that strain the relationship. Through effective counselling techniques, I help couples understand each other's perspectives, find common ground, and develop strategies for managing these conflicts constructively.
I hold a degree in counselling and a postgraduate diploma in family mediation, equipping me with the knowledge and skills necessary to address a wide range of relationship challenges. My training includes Level 2 Gottman Therapy, a renowned approach that focuses on enhancing relationship satisfaction through improved communication and conflict resolution. Additionally, as an ACA-recognised supervisor, I have the privilege of mentoring and supporting other counsellors in their professional journeys.
In today’s fast-paced world, accessibility and convenience are crucial. That’s why I offer both Telehealth and in-person support. Whether you prefer the comfort and flexibility of virtual sessions or the personal connection of face-to-face meetings, I am here to accommodate your needs and provide the highest level of care.
At Find A Counsellor, I am dedicated to fostering healthy, resilient relationships. My approach is empathetic, client-centred, and tailored to the unique needs of each couple. Together, we can work towards resolving conflicts, enhancing communication, and building a stronger, more loving partnership. If you’re ready to take the first step towards a healthier relationship, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
