I have worked in various roles within the health sector for over 25 years walking alongside people with severe and complex mental health issues. In this time, I have also supported people with physical and intellectual disabilities as well as working with families, youths and within the child safety system.
My work has taken me from government organisations including NHS Wales (acute psychiatric ward) to non-government organisations and my own private practice both in the UK and Australia.
I am a Registered Counsellor with the ACA (Australian Counselling Association) and provide friendly, confidential and professional support through difficult times offering a range of therapeutic modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Gottman Method (Couples), Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) Skills amongst others.
I am also provide Professional Supervision and am a member of the College of Supervisors utilising Rise Up and SEED models.
I offer a non-judgemental and holistic service to offer you the skills and tools to assist you on your path to recovery and towards a rich and meaningful life.
