Gary Bruce is a Solutions Focussed Counsellor
working primarily with youth (ages 15 to 25) and male mental health. His
practice is based in Brisbane with face to face and online sessions available.

He is also a coach, educator, writer, and speaker.
He has over 35 years of teaching and leadership experience across Qld schools
and has successfully run his counselling and coaching business “Going Beyond
Results” for the past 5 years.
He is a
counsellor registered with the Australian Counselling Association, an
accredited coach with the International Coaching Federation, an accredited
instructor with Mental Health First Aid Australia delivering MHFA programs
(Standard, Youth and "Conversations about suicide"), and a Master
Practitioner of NLP and Conscious Hypnosis. He is accredited in DISC and EIQ
profiling.
Gary
founded Going Beyond Results after working with numerous clients who benefited
from one-on-one coaching to develop time management, improve organisation
skills, and improve anxiety management. After observing a number of his clients
suffering from anxiety and depression, he trained to become a Counsellor and an
Instructor in Mental Health First Aid. He has delivered MHFA training to more
than six hundred people over the last two years.
Gary works
to improve outcomes for his clients by focusing on the individual and
empowering them. An integrated, client-centered, solution-focused approach that
encourages sustainable change.
