I am a registered ACA Counsellor and Creative Arts Psychotherapist with ANZACATA Professional registration.
I offer compassionate, warm and understanding counselling and creative arts psychotherapy support to individuals and families via in-person and telehealth services. My practice is culturally inclusive and welcomes individuals and families from all backgrounds and age groups.
My 25 years of combined experience in community service, allied health, education and disability advocacy often informs how I support you in a way that is trauma-informed, safe and meaningful. My lived experience with disabilities naturally shapes a neurodiversity-affirming approach in therapy. From Autism to carer stress, or bullying to corporate burnout, I companion you in making sense of these lived experiences. I love working with children and mothers in silo or together, to develop strong bonds in today’s challenging and isolated world.
My specialties include:
1. Autism, ADHD, Gifted 2E, SPD, Sotos Syndrome, Downs Syndrome, CP, GDD and other disabilities
2. Early Childhood Intervention, Dementia, Alzheimer, Carer Stress
3. Acquired disability recovery, Chronic illnesses. Auto-immune conditions, Stroke, Endometriosis
4. PTSD/C-PTSD, Anxiety, Depression
5. Domestic violence, Divorce, Pre & Post-Natal stress (wellbeing management)
6. Providing parent, carer, teacher and workplace training and therapy.
I value a person-centred, strengths-based approach to self-discovery and healing. I journey alongside you in compassionate reflection and recovery. I aim to provide clarity, and practical tools to foster growth and build resilience (coping strategies).
We can utilise Creative Arts Psychotherapy, Counselling, or a combination of both in our sessions. You have full autonomy to choose a preferred modality.
CALD & LGBTQIA+ friendly.
NDIS Self or Plan Managed clients welcome.
I look forward to working with you!
