My vocation in counselling and psychotherapy was initiated when I reached a point in my life that allowed me to understand the true meaning of life experience. I am a wife, a mother and grandmother, and have faced challenges due to my nationality and migrant status. I have lived through monumental paradigm shifts in politics, economics and technology, and am witness to the growing cultural pressures of modern society on all age groups. I have been both an employer and an employee, and have faced health challenges –as well as supporting others, through their own. This culmination of experiences has taught me perspective, tolerance, empathy, and an approach that is free of judgment. I believe that none of us should have to be alone in a time of struggle.
