My name is Heath Addison and my counselling business,
Addison Relationship Consultants, operates from the stunning lands and
waterways of the Gumbaynggirr nation within NSW, Australia.
I offer a broad range of counselling services, specialising
in Narrative informed response to trauma, restorative practice, supervision and
secondary consult, as well as domestic violence interventions with men who
abuse women and children.
I have experience with EAP critical incident response and
debrief, secondary consult and domestic violence interventions with DCJ staff,
management and clients.
I am recognised by NSW Health as an industry expert in this
domain, where I provide training, development and consultation, as well as
supervision for community services sector staff (NGO / Government) and emerging
provider organisations in the sphere of domestic violence, perpetrator

At the State level I have also held positions of NSW
Practice development officer with No to Violence (NSW), have developed and
delivered a range of training and consult services for family interventions and
response to violence, and deliver a range of consult services, supervision and
training to staff and organisations across NSW, the ACT and Queensland.
I have also been the chair of the NSW Men’s Behaviour
Change Network (2017-18)

In the post Covid-19 world, I offer a range of consult and
services via virtual delivery and have capacity to engage across jurisdictions
through technology supported applications.
As a counselling specialist I have under graduate
qualifications from Monash University, a post graduate diploma in counselling
(University of New England) and a Master’s degree in Narrative Therapy
(Melbourne University). I am a member of the Australian Counselling Association
and have comprehensive specialist insurance as an accountable therapeutic
practitioner.
