Isabella Nielsen

Isabella is a trauma-informed and person-centred counsellor who has experience working with a range of mental health diagnoses and presentations including depression, anxiety, borderline personality disorder, trauma, complex post-traumatic stress disorder, eating disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and autism. Isabella has previous experience working as a behaviour support practitioner, working with individuals living with neurological and psychosocial disorders, and providing training and support to parents and carers through strengths-based interventions and psychoeducation.Isabella also has experience working with individuals who have experienced significant trauma, providing support and advocacy for individuals navigating the criminal justice system and those who have had direct involvement with the criminal justice system.Isabella is interested in working with children, young people, and adults who are wanting to improve their communication skills, develop healthy relationships, improve self-confidence, improve emotional regulation skills, overcome past traumas, and manage mental health challenges.
