Jacinda Wilson lives in Sydney and holds an Bachelor of Counselling. She currently works as a Community Counsellor in Aged Care.Previously, Jacinda has worked as a Registered Nurse specialising in the aged sector for the past 8 years across various profit and non-profit organisations.  It has been while working in this industry that her desire to be able to support people emotionally rather than just physically was born and lead her to commence counselling studies. Jacinda has also been a volunteer youth worker for many years and is passionate about supporting young people in todays climate with increasing levels of depression and anxiety.I hope to be able to provide a space where you can process and explore your thoughts safely and journey with you through these considering if there are any strategies or tools that might be of benefit. I specialise in the area dementia specific counselling- for individuals living with a diagnosis of dementia, or those caring for them, offering individualised support to help you; better understand dementia and the impacts of it on your life, grow and build skills to respond to difficult emotions and situations in a manner inline with your values, build hope and offer practical support for goal setting and planning for the future.
