Jackie McGuinness HDip (Humanistic Person Centred Counselling), DipHe (Suicideology), CertHE (Child and Adolescent Counselling and Psychotherapy) is a counsellor with wide-ranging experience in the areas of Relationship Difficulties, Anxiety, Depression, Fertility, Parenting, Panic Attacks, Anger Management, Weight Management, Trauma, Low Self-esteem, Forced Adoption Support, Bereavement and Loss. Jackie’s work includes both adults and children and adolescents and she is specialized in the treatment of Suicide Prevention, Intervention and Postvention. Jackie provides a safe and non-judgemental therapeutic space in which each individual can explore and reflect on their life experiences in order to achieve a greater understanding and acceptance of themselves and others. Jackie operates out of a Humanistic and Integrative approach to psychotherapy, based predominantly on the unique ability of each individual to make positive transformations and achieve optimum levels of well-being. Jackie is a member of the Australian Counselling Association and also works in the area of Student Wellbeing and Student Protection. No referral required. Doctors Health Fund Top and Top Extra members eligible for rebate. Medibank members may be eligible for rebate depending on their fund.
