Hi everyone. My name's Jenny and I am the founder of
Younique Abilities. I have had over 20 years working in the Community Services
industry in a variety of roles. My experience includes working with children
and youth at risk; supporting disengaged youth in secondary schools; supporting
individuals with diagnosed and undiagnosed mental illness; working with long
term unemployed people with a range of barriers to gaining employment and
supporting people with dual diagnosis. I have worked in various disability
support organisations in Management roles.I have also worked as a qualified Trainer
and Assessor delivering training in the Certificate 3 in Individual Support -
Ageing/HACC and Disability Support with an RTO.

As well as this, I am a qualified Counsellor and hold
current registration with the Australian Counselling Association.

I decided to create Younique Abilities because of the
passion I have for providing high quality supports to people living with
disabilities, and the belief that every person, no matter who they are, have
their very own set of unique abilities.

Younique Abilities believes that every person should be at
the centre of their decision making, so Person-Centred practice comes naturally. We work from the perspective that every person has the right to a
feeling of being independent, and our role is to help them to continue building
on their skills.

My own personal lived experience has also been a large
reason in wanting to deliver a high-quality service to those with their own
support needs.

I am dedicated to ensuring the best possible outcomes for my
clients, and work in a way which is holistic and collaborative. By doing this I
feel confident that my clients will receive great service and will feel they
are achieving their personal goals.

I service both private and NDIS clients, including carers
and families.
