JiaSine (Ashley) is a former primary school teacher turned registered counsellor, dedicated to supporting international students, school-aged children, parents, young people, women, and families from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Her teaching experience inspired her transition into counselling, where she continues her commitment to fostering growth, understanding, and connection.
The common thread across her two careers is her dedication to inspiring individuals to reach their fullest potential, promoting well-being, and supporting socio-emotional development. JiaSine aims to help clients navigate life's challenges, encouraging resilience and empowering them to thrive.
Having lived in both Malaysia and Australia, JiaSine brings a unique perspective shaped by her personal experiences as an international student and professional. She understands firsthand the challenges of adjusting to new cultural and linguistic environments, managing the demands of school and work, and achieving a healthy work-life balance. These experiences motivate her to help others enhance their well-being in all aspects of life.
JiaSine is a Member of the Australian Counselling Association. She works with clients in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese and is fluent in Malay, with basic knowledge of Japanese.
