Languages Spoken:

I am an integrative counsellor and experienced coach working in both public and private practice. Through consultations, counselling provides clients with the opportunity to share their story and be heard in a safe and accepting space that may not be available to them in their daily life. Through this clients are met at a deep level of connection and can explore their issue/s, identify barriers and find ways to move beyond these. This is done with ongoing confidential and professional support with the outcome being specific issue/s or troubles addressed, resulting in improved sense of self, empowerment, decision making and general wellbeing.
As an experienced counsellor, I believe that we all need support for our journey. I am committed to assisting my clients to tap into their own
inner resources and gain insight into their own inner resources and address barriers and obstacles that are currently preventing them from experiencing the quality of life they deserve.

My approach to counselling is integrative. This means that I employ a number of therapeutic approaches that when facilitated together can achieve more than if used on their own. Through the integration of client centred, cognitive based therapy, narrative therapy and future and solution focussed approaches I support clients to gain insight/s around an issue, identify barriers / obstacles, make informed choices and then establish steps towards creating and sustaining change now and into the future.

At the core of my work is client empowerment and self direction. And by being honest and truthful about this supporting clients to come to terms with their pasts and present while creating a more fulfilling and satisfying here + now = future.
