Joanna is a holistic and integrative counsellor with a passion for helping individuals navigate through life's challenging moments. Specializing in grief, loss, and trauma, she has experience counselling families of individuals impacted by dementia, including Alzheimer's. Fluent in both English and Polish, she offers her services in person at her Mona Vale, NSW office, as well as online.
Holding degrees in Counselling (Dip), Philosophy (MA), and Peace and Conflict Studies (MA), Joanna's diverse educational background provides her with a unique perspective in supporting her clients. Her expertise includes assisting individuals experiencing existential questioning and major life transitions, as well as helping carers and professionals in caring roles, including first responders, to achieve work-life balance and prevent burnout.
Recognizing the importance of the connection between mind and body, Joanna employs a holistic approach to processing emotions. Her practice includes various tools such as EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), meditation, visualization, and breathwork, alongside traditional talk therapy. Joanna is committed to tailoring her approach to meet the unique needs of each client, offering a safe and supportive space for healing and personal growth.
