Julie is a registered Counsellor with a Masters of Counselling, Grad Diploma of Counselling and a Bachelor of Social Work.
Working with teens and women of all ages is my passion. Being able to assist you to achieve a life of your choosing regardless of what has been thrown at you before. My own personal experiences of DV, blended family, family in LGBTIQ+ space, single parent, a military spouse, allows me to understand life's complexities. With over 20 years experience as a remedial massage therapist I realised women were encountering unexplained pain. I realised it was from toxic relationships, childhood experiences trauma and other happenings. Finding your own identity is key to a fulfilling life but sometimes we need assistance to unravel prior events.
I like to use a creative approach to counselling. Working with you may include alternatives to just talking such as craft, doodling, journaling, writing, worksheets specific, breathwork, drawing in the sand/dirt the list is endless. Each will be adapted to your individuality and relevance to your needs.
If someone was to describe me in one word, that word would be "calm". I offer online counselling and walk and talk therapy in Mandurah WA area, both are great choices. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem or not sure how to navigate a life transition, it would be a privilege to allow me to assist.
