My mission is that every individual would know they are invaluable; worthy of human flourishing and authentic connection. It is this vision that underpins who I am as a Wellbeing Counsellor. The counselling relationship to me means: a space to be seen and accepted, a space to process life's challenges and struggles, and a space to discover the freedom to build a life that is meaningful to you.
My areas of interest are counselling individuals through: navigating life changes and transitions, stress, depression, and anxiety, grief and loss, enriching relationships, self identity, values and purpose, personal development and practical goals.
I am also a couples counsellor who is passionate about thriving romantic relationships, built on friendship, meaningful connection, playfulness, and fun. I use Gottman Method Couples Therapy and have completed Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. My area of focus is working with committed couples who are seeking to strengthen their relationship together and intentionally build a loving foundation.
From a theoretical perspective: I have an integrated approach drawing predominantly from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solutions-Focused Brief Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, Trauma-Informed. An integrated approach means that I can stay grounded in an individual's holistic wellbeing; meeting an individual where they are at with their unique style and needs.
