I am a self-motivated and progress-driven practitioner with practice leadership knowledge and extensive understanding of the impacts that childhood trauma can have on development and mental health. Over the past several years, I have been very active in promoting and supporting partnership efforts, and new responses between workers, agencies and families to build integrated approaches and shared resources and approaches between services. I have a background in trauma-informed Psychology and Counselling and am a huge advocate for children's rights. I have in-depth experience in providing direct client counselling and practice support within the specialist field of domestic and family violence and child sexual abuse. I believe in good quality communication and care, flexibility in approach, transparency, initiative and respectful relationships.
