Karen Barlow Counselling offers caring and supportive therapeutic counselling using a broad range of evidence-based therapies for women, men and young people.
The goal with counselling is for clients to gain an awareness and understanding about the issues that they are facing.
It's also important for clients to develop the skills to be able to cope better with these issues, and to move towards achieving their goals and living a meaningful and rewarding life.
The plan is to offer a range of workshops in 2025.
The following values underpin all of the work done in counselling sessions:
- "It is with warmth and kindness we are held with compassion.
- It is through connection and understanding we gain courage and insight.
- It is when we experience empathy and acceptance that we feel heard and valued.
- It is by opening ourselves up to new ways of responding to situations that we regain our inner balance.
- It is in the quiet stillness that we hear our breath.
- And it is in these moments that we are able to heal and find strength to move forward."
