I am a qualified counsellor who also has a background in early childhood and business. From a young age I have been passionate about helping people of all ages. I currently specialise in counselling children from the age of 5 through to young adulthood and parents/caregivers.I am a non-judgmental, gentle and compassionate counsellor. During our sessions, I will walk beside my client while they learn more about themselves and assist them to develop their own ideas and skills and together find strategies that will help them make positive changes. I believe every client is an individual and use an eclectic approach towards counselling which means I draw from a broad range of therapeutic theories and techniques to work with them, using what’s most suitable for each client’s individuality. I work from a strengths based perspective.I can support clients with a range of issues including Anxiety, School Avoidance, Bullying/Self Esteem, Depression, Behavioural Issues and Family Relationships and ParentingI am committed to helping my clients however if you have service needs beyond my practice scope, I will endeavour to help you identify appropriate referral options.
