Kimberley is an experienced trauma counsellor with a
Master's degree in counselling.
Her diverse background
includes working in the Army and with incarcerated youth,
showcasing her ability to work with individuals from all
walks of life.
Building strong bonds with her clients, Kimberley creates a
safe and non-judgmental space where clients can feel
heard, seen and supported.
Kimberley seeks to normalise our cultures individualistic
way of thinking that often leads to feelings of loneliness and
separation. She believes there is nothing inherently wrong
with people and that we are all simply experiencing the
human journey.
Employing acceptance and commitment
therapy, compassionate enquiry, attachment theory, family
systems therapy, behavioural therapy, psychoeducation,
and EMDR, Kimberley takes a holistic approach to treat
clients, considering all aspects of their health and strengths.
Highly caring and empathic, Kimberley values education
and believes it is vital for clients to understand the healing
process. She recognises that true transformation lies in the
connection to oneself and others.
Kimberley incorporates somatic approaches with clients,
involving the mind-body connection in the healing process.
She feels every client possesses the wisdom to move
through trauma and the challenges of life. She sees her role
as walking beside them throughout their healing journey.
