Kurtz is a registered practitioner who has over 27 years experience working in a variety of environments including hospitals, community health centres, specialist agencies and is also currently in private practice. He merges his background in psychology with the latest approaches in behaviour change technology. He has designed and conducted over 2900 seminars, workshops and courses for individuals, couples, government bodies and the community. These include four statewide programs (two are regarded as Australia's first) deployed in agencies and prisons within Victoria and some nationally. Two of these programs are currently used in Britain and Germany. He has been running anger management programs for Community Corrections for over 15 years and as an accredited Men's Behaviour Change Program facilitator is also currently involved in running these and related programs for a number of organisations.
