Laura is a  registered NDIS Provider, an Accredited Eagala Equine Psychotherapist and ACA Accredited Level 4 Master of Counselling. She has  a background as a  Researcher at the University of Queensland. She has worked in the Discipline of Psychiatry, within the School of Medicine at Herston. She has a Masters Of Counselling, Life coach certification, 36 years of nursing experience and has been involved in counselling children, adolescents, families and couples through Relationships Australia. Her counselling style is strength based with an eclectic approach utilising other counselling modalities to suit the clients agenda. She has demonstrated experience as a Nursing Professional in Clinical and Psychiatric inpatient settings. Her key interests are Counselling, Working with horses,families, individuals, Youth at risk, Mental health, Mood and eating disorders, Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation,Women's Health, Domestic violence issues, Emotion Focused Therapy Psychology and Research. Laura has been involved in various NHMRC research in particular nutraceutical research through the University of Queensland trialling supplements for Depression and Anxiety. She is an experienced clinician in clinical risk assessment and suicide prevention. The practice is registered with All private health funds  and is a provider of NDIS Services.
