I believe counselling is being with each unique individual / couple building a theraputic relationship through congruence , empthy and unconditional postive redard . Being present enusring a safe environment to explore,discuss,understand and learn more about ourselves and others to improve , renew and revitalise relationships with ourselves and others . I am professionally trained in counselling and nursing to help you be seen and heard to find clarity, over come barriers, make change , plan, grow into a stronger,more resiliant you / couple. Working together to find ways for you to cope , improve and manage relationship difficulties , anxiety , stress, grief & loss , low self-esteem, medical/health and cancer issues.The framework I practice within is Client Centred Therapy , incorporating Gottman Method in Couples Therapy , Gestalt Therapy , Solution Focused Therapy , CBT , Bereavment Therapy , Attachment Therory , Humanistic Therory and Mindfullness to achieve an individually tailored plan to support clients reach thier needs and goals .I am also a registered nurse with 30 years experience across a varity of specialised settings , gaining knowledge , skills and academic achievments in teaching , assessing and mentoring .
