It is a privilege to be the safe place for others who are struggling against life. I have great respect for the unique story each person carries and I live my life, which includes my counselling and coaching roles, based on the foundational philosophy that all people are of worth and deserve to live the life they choose, in balance and in harmony. My experience is broad, having worked and volunteered across the health care sector, training and education, mental health field, not-for-profit sector, ministry and interfaith movements, counselling and life coaching, over a career spanning 40 years. Formal qualifications in these fields have complimented the diverse and varied life experiences I've enjoyed, as have periods of personal struggle and physical challenges.Clients I work with are facing depression, anxiety, sudden tragic events, divorce, health crises, relationship and parenting issues, grief and loss, sexual assault leading to self esteem and self worth challenges, work related concerns, and still there are others who want to explore the purpose of their life and the spiritual aspects of this human experience. Then there are people who want to escape the 'mind chatter', or who no longer wish to feel victim to outside influences. My room in Kangaroo Flat is a warm and welcoming, confidential space where you are free to share your story, examine your beliefs and values and ultimately the impact these have on the quality of your life. We are not our thoughts; we are not our feelings; these are things we experience. The work I do, is 'with you', not 'to you'. If you have a desire to be your own authority in your own life, to know your true power, the depth and essence of your ancient self, then I'd love to hear from you.
