I am a registered Clinical Counsellor with the Australian
Counselling Association (ACA).

Over the past
10 years, I have worked in private practice and organizations in Australia and
South America. I have provided several specialized therapeutic services to
those dealing with challenging life experiences and assisted people through
short-term goal-oriented therapy and long-term therapy.

Prior to
migrating to Australia, my clinical experience and training as a fully
registered psychologist in Brazil focused on helping those who present with
mental health difficulties such as anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive, and
relationship issues.

Since moving to
Australia in 2017, I have worked with people diagnosed with a spectrum of
neurological disorders, such as autism, Tourette syndrome, ADHD, Down syndrome,
and dyslexia. Also supporting their families.

Besides cross-cultural expertise, I have also developed the
ability to work carefully with diversity, more generally, working
collaboratively with people from a range of different social and ethnic
backgrounds and of diverse genders, as well as relationship structures. In my
sessions, we will build a safe, non-judgmental, and confidential space. Acceptance
and Commitment Therapy is my approach.
