I am a registered counsellor, teacher, and parent. I bring to
my practice more than twenty years’ experience as a creative arts practitioner
and educator working with children, young people, and adults, along with skills
and expertise in drama, environmental education, mindfulness in education and
yoga for children.
As a member of a neurodiverse family, I am passionate about
supporting neurodivergent people and those who support them, and I bring this
commitment to my work as a school counsellor and teacher in a non-mainstream
high school.
My priority, always, is to create a safe environment that will
enable connection and creative collaboration. My commitment is to listen deeply
and bring curiosity and non-judgement to all our conversations. There’s only
one brain like yours and you are the expert on it!
I am here to empower people to understand and feel good
about their unique way of being in the world so they can experience a
personally fulfilling life in connection with others.
I imagine a world in which people feel safe and confident in
communicating their needs, celebrating their strengths, acknowledging their
challenges, advocating for themselves, and extending this compassionate
understanding to others.
