Welcome to The Imaginal Room — a counselling space for creatives, deep thinkers, and neurodivergent souls.

I offer a counselling space where imagination, sensitivity, and intellectual curiosity are honoured. My practice is especially suited to those who have felt unmet by conventional counselling models — artists, creatives, philosophical seekers, and neurodivergent individuals looking for depth-oriented and neuroaffirming guidance and support.

I work relationally, drawing from my training in Pastoral Counselling and Gestalt Therapy, and integrating spiritual direction, existential inquiry, and imaginal dialogue. The work unfolds through conversation and shared reflection — guided by what arises between us. I’m committed to creating a space that is ethically held, affirming of identity, and alive to symbolic and soulful dimensions.

As a neurodivergent and non-binary person, I bring lived experience into the heart of my practice. I understand the importance of special interests, sensory nuance, the need for space in social relating, and the capacity to see the world from a meta-perspective. I offer neuroaffirming self-care tools that support difference rather than mask it.

I know what it is to feel in the world but not of it — and from that vantage point, I offer companionship and insight. Together, we can reflect not only on your inner life, but also on the cultural and systemic structures that impact your experience.

I bring to this work over 20 years as a visual arts education academic, where I’ve guided hundreds of students to reflect authentically on their artistic and inner lives. As a conceptual and digital artist and active researcher, I explore themes of spirituality, theology, and the phenomenology of artmaking — insights that can support our work together.
