Mary Verghese is a professional counsellor with a MA degree in Counselling from Edith Cowan University. She also completed her Diploma of Counselling through Australian Institute of Family Counselling while working and supporting clients with mental health issues since 2019.She is a person-centred counsellor who is dedicated to supporting the clients using an Integrative therapy approach. By selecting the most effective techniques from various schools of thought, she aims to provide the best possible outcomes for the clients. Her mission is to help clients achieve their goals by providing them with the best possible solutions.The most popular treatment plans applied are Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Gestalt, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness exercises (EFT tapping), or creative therapies such as Art therapy and Play therapy.She is passionate about helping families/individuals build healthy relationships and believe that everyone deserves to be happy. She loves the caterpillar's metamorphosis into a butterfly metaphor for the journey of acceptance and recovery from mental health challenges.Personal Statement - "Here, at Heart2Heart Talk Therapy, I believe that everyone has the potential to transform their lives and emerge stronger from their struggles. She also offers Christian counselling for those who wish to explore their faith and improve their mental wellness.She is a member of the Australian Counselling Association and is committed to providing ethical and compassionate counselling services.
