I have been a counsellor for 23 years. During that time, I have facilitated drink-driving courses and men’s behaviour change programs. I have run groups for parents and carers of people suffering mental health and drug and alcohol misuse. I also use art as a therapeutic tool when running groups and am currently studying Art Therapy. Initially, I studied Welfare at Monash University and have completed post-graduate qualifications in Social Science at Swinburne and Drugs and Alcohol at Turning Point. I have qualifications in Management, Disabilities, Mental Health and studied at William Glasser Institute. I have also done supervising training at Bouverie Centre. I am interested in Neuroscience and how to apply this knowledge to counselling. I am an alumni of the Change Agent Network, Swinburne and Ballarat University. I typically work with older participants and those with complex presentation involving addictions, mental health, behaviour change and trauma histories.
