I am a counsellor in private practice and provide Equine-Assisted Mental Health services, in addition to room-based and telehealth counselling, and arts therapy, for adults, teens and children impacted by trauma and/or disability. I also work with high performance athletes with a disability, including
Para-equestrian riders. As well as holding counselling and wellbeing roles in diverse sectors including schools, workplaces, and the equine industry, I bring my own lived experience of recovering from injury, and over 40 years of professional equine industry experience as a coach, competitor, trainer and assessor. This allows me to offer a unique perspective into the world of competitive horse sports and the challenges facing those who work and manage enterprises in the equine industry.
