Michelle brings a wealth of experience as a warm, caring, down-to-earth, practical counsellor and Somatic Therapist. She specialises in trauma and has an innate ability to connect to and support people from all walks of life. She offers people looking for counselling the practical skills to develop lasting behaviour change, and to re-connect to the awesome, amazing, loveable beings they truly are. Michelle has a son who was been diagnosed with Autism, a Mild Intellectual Disability, ADHD, ODD, Language Delay, learning disabilities, serious behavioural issues, and anxiety. With Fabic and The Body Life Skills Program, she was able to offer life-changing support to her son, who shifted from multiple meltdowns a day to currently living independently in his twenties, driving his car, and working full time.Along with extensive experience working full-time as a Counsellor since 2010, Michelle also has experience working as a volunteer Lifeline Crisis Support Worker, this includes supporting clients with past and present trauma, as an Aged Care support worker, and as a volunteer Teacher of Ethics as her local Primary School.
