Monica Cook is a qualified sexologist holding a Masters of Sexual and Reproductive Health (Psychosexual Therapy) through the University of Sydney. She is an accredited member of the Society of Australian Sexologists, and previously been a subcommittee board member for the Australasian Institute for Reproductive and Restorative Medicine.Combined with many years of experience Monica’s main focus has been on translating the most current information and research in the field of sexology into practical concepts and exercises to help individuals and couples thrive in their sexual relationships. Topics of interest include female sexual wellness, sex after kids, mismatched libido, fostering healthy communication, working with multicultural populations and natural fertility. Her approach is a wholistic one that addresses body, mind and soul and provides couples a safe space to explore their sexuality knowing that their values will be respected and acknowledged. She gathers from a broad range of scientific disciplines, resources, strategies, approaches and techniques to provide sex counselling that is sensitive and transformative.
