Monique plays a crucial role within the counselling industry, providing guidance, support, and expertise to help individuals navigate through domestic family violence, sexual assault, personal, social and psychological challenges. Monique demonstrates exceptional listening skills, empathy and problem-solving skills, along with a deep understanding of human behavior and therapeutic techniques. Monique holds trauma informed practices, client centered approach, with a holistic view, recently graduated from Masters of Counselling, and is certified CBT practitioner. Monique is adept in working with Non-suicidal self-harm, BPD, depression, anxiety, suicide prevention, grief and loss, and trauma. Monique has a graduate diploma in addictions, can assist with relapse prevention plans, and counselling community members affected by alcohol or drug use. Monique has critical incident stress de-brief training. Monique has worked heavily with developing interpresonal communication skills within the family system to develop strong relationships. Monique has Masters degree in Grief and loss, Graduate Diploma in Addictions.
